This is probably my favorite demo from last year. Pukeoid plays lo-fi hardcore that sounds about as graceful as a bullrun. This tape gets everything right. The riffs are killer, the songs are short and well-structured, the vocals are mean, and the production is seriously disgusting. Standout tracks for me are "Choke", "Shot In The Head", and "Gimme Death". Pukeoid is from Northwest Indiana, which seems to be cooking up a lot of the coolest recent hardcore bands, along with Chicago. At 8 songs in under 6 minutes, the Pukeoid demo is a fucking ripper.
