Noose - Split Tape w/ Wolbachia

Its been quite a while since my last post on here. I believe it was Socrates who wrote, "Procrastination is like masturbation: it is fun until one realizes that they are fucking themselves." School has also played a fundamental role in transferring the majority of my creative energy into essays and other tasteless bullshit. What a blast. On a brighter note, I've compiled a great bunch of releases which will be posted over the course of the next bit so stay tuned.

This release is one of the single heaviest, most brutal, and dehumanizing things I've listened to the past few months. The three tracks that make up Noose's side of this tape make every Mark McCoy-wannabe "mysterious" art punk in the East Coast sound like a bunch of bedwetters. If you're looking for seriously fucked up, noisy, damaged hardcore, look no further than the heartless heart of the continent, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Just to clarify, this is NOT the vegan/straightedge Noose from Chicago, featuring members of Duress and Poison Planet. This is noisy powerviolence from Winnipeg that I believe formed prior to the Chicago Noose. I have no absolutely no knowledge on this tape or of Wolbachia's side on this, or even whether it was even released. Regardless, Noose's side speaks for itself in alienation, self-destruction and utter fuckedupness. To put these rippers into perspective, watch the Guy Maddin film "My Winnipeg" before listening.
